The hotel is in the old city … in Pink City, just behind, but sheltered from, on of the busy main roads. The hotel staff were really kind and helpful in every way. the room was in fair condition, slighly worn, but clean.
There is free WiFi, but too slow to stream, but fine for browsing.
The sites of the old city are all within walking distance from the hotel.
The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of old Jaipur and beyond. But it also has really good food, if you like the sweeter Indian food, then try the Cashew Nut Curry.
They gave me a room different than photos. A room looks like cellar, without window. Because all front rooms booked by others bla bla. Room, bed, sheets were not clean. Bathroom was terrible. OK, I wasnt expecting a 5 star comfort but at least I expected a clean room for sleep.
Hotels.com で予約しましたが、確認書まで、もらってたのに、予約されてない、と。夜中についたので、非常に困った。Hotels.comに確認の電話したが、その後、何もなし、ロビーでまたされた後、自力でホテルさがし部屋にありつけたが、フロントの対応と、Hotels.comの対応には、まいった。随分利用させてもらってるが、このような事は初めてです。
The room was one of the worst I've ever been in. I booked three nights there but left after the first morning (I arrived to the room around midnight and I was tired, otherwise I might have left without even sleeping there). Everything and anything was sub standard. First thing that hit me when I entered the room was an overwhelming stench of cigarettes. I abhor the smell of cigarettes and the only option to air the room out was the fan (the window did not open and anyway, it faced a... wall, I think?). There was also an AC which I did not try. I had to keep the fan on despite being chilly because the smell was so overwhelming. I tried asking if there were any non smoking rooms but was offered an ashtray. Later, when I spoke with an English speaker I was informed that smoking is allowed in all rooms. The room was tiny. It had a bed (possibly king size, but that didn't make the room more attractive), a small desk and chair and a cabinet for clothes. Once I laid my luggage on the floor I could not move around the room and had to jump over my opened suitcase or step in it. The bedding were stained and unclean. I have nothing else to say about that, it was gross but I was tired and I had an early morning. The shower and bathroom were not appealing. There was no hot water coming from the top faucet so I had to fill a bucket with warm water and use the provided cup to wash myself. No toilet paper either. The phone was disconnected, had to go down to ask for room service etc.
