I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience my friend Cameal and I had during my trip booked for Hedonism II. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an enjoyable and memorable time turned into a frustrating and disheartening ordeal due to the actions of one of the employees of the Entertainment Staff named Ricardo. My friend Cameal met up with me at Hedonism II we had separate rooms, we were at the disco 3 days before we were suppose to be checking out, the entertainment coordinator Ricardo was blatantly rude, showed very poor customer service, rude behavior and spoke to my friend in a revering manner. This was not only unprofessional but left us feeling as though our concerns were not valued or taken seriously. After the incident occur, we reported it and instead of getting an apology, the day my friend was leaving, we saw the staff member having breakfast and that night at dinner the staff member was seen in the dining room enjoying the show and showing no remorse for his action, the rest of the entertainment staff began avoiding us, my friend got no apologies and we were then treated as if we were the problem. We are paying guest that paid a lot of money to visit this property and it’s safe to say my friend and I will not be returning. Recently she received an email from the General Manager justifying the employees action and mentioning peoples name that he spoke to that wasn’t at the scene of the incident. Ultimately as paying guest we were left to feel embarrassed, harassed, and uncomfortable. I will not be recommending this Resort to anyone again. We had high expectations given Hedonism II reputation and the amount we invested in this trip. However, the lack of care shown by the General Manager and the Entertainment manager Winston significantly diminished our overall experience. Rather than relaxing and enjoying ourselves, we spent much of our time dealing with the consequences of this employees rudeness and lack of responsibility to the paying guest. I am hoping that this review brings attention to the issue we faced so that no future travelers have to endure the same. We were not looking for compensation only a heartfelt apology and acknowledgment of their employees action, instead we got excuses, lies and blatant disregard for our ruined vacation. I am not finish here, in the times of social media. I will be making sure that everyone that can read will see this comment and other comments I’ll be posting regarding my recent experience with this property. Utterly disappointing.

Great vacation for the money. Don’t go alone. Go with a significant other. Definitely a couples retreat.

This is not the first time at this resort or Negril that I was heavily harassed by hotel hired security. My thick southern accent is an indication that I’m a tourist besides the glaring wristbands! Negril Security doesn’t believe a Single woman of color vacation just to swim in the ocean. The harassment was relentless! Miss, misss, misss sharks, don’t swim, are you a guest? Tugging on my hammock and worst of all following me and posting feet away from me. I asked on day 3 did I have personal bodyguards? I was highly profiled because I swam after dark with myself trying to find peace which was absolutely derailed by aggressive security surveillance. I will return to Grand Iberostar in Montego Bay where they recognize a solo female traveler want peace because is security and not surveillance.
