Excellent location, clean hotel, Staff are very Friendly and helpful. My stay was Excellent. One thing which I don't like. They don't have iron to press my clothes. Mostly 3* Hotel are providing Iron for Rooms.

I was staying at the hotel for two nights. Clean room, friendly staff and good location the cons is the entrance and lobby. It is too old but the rooms are great and good breakfast. Value for money is great.

This bad review relates to my experience with Taksim Star Hotel, NOT Taksim Park Hotel, where I eventually ended up staying under the same booking. I booked a room for three nights at Taksim Star Hotel and paid non-refundable. When I arrived to check in, the hotel could not find my name despite my confirmed booking. They insisted that I pay again for the first night. The receptionist contacted the night manager, and later the morning shift manager as well. Both were extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Agoda confirmed that my booking was indeed for Taksim Star Hotel, yet the hotel continued to deny recognizing it. As a result, I was never refunded the money I had to pay again in order to stay. It later turned out that Taksim Star Hotel is part of a group of seven hotels in Istanbul, and they arbitrarily allocated me to one of their least popular hotels without explanation or consent. In short, this was one of the worst check-in experiences of my life. This hotel is disorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful to its clients. If you want to book a room and end up paying twice, this is the place. If you want to spoil your trip to Istanbul, choose this hotel.
