24.07.02We just got back from a PA to Yellowstone road trip and booked stays at the last minute when we were tired of driving. Super 8 by Wyndham were are favorites. Consistently clean, breakfast/coffee and friendly staff.

24.07.30 The man who checked me in was very nice and said if my room wasn’t acceptable that he’d change it. The room was pretty run down and felt dirty. The walls and doors need new paint, the outlet box popped out when I unplugged my flatiron, the bathtub was dirty looking, the sink was clogged, and there were brown stains on the lampshade. The blanket had a big stain. There was a strong mothball smell by the main office.
There was nobody in the office when I tried to check out. I rang the bell and knocked on the door for 7 minutes. I had to leave so I left my key on the counter. The lobby was very warm in the morning so I didn’t feel comfortable eating breakfast there.
