26.03.01Perfectly located a few blocks outside of the excitement, noise, and fun on Bourbon Street, this is a grand old hotel that is clean, quite, and provides outstanding service. It is close to all attractions whether driving or walking.
26.01.06Beautiful location, near everything in the Bourbon District. Old charm.
25.10.27This is a five star hotel with 1 star service. It's a gorgeous, grand hotel and our suite could not have been more spacious or nicer. However, service was AWFUL. Each time I tried calling for small items--like a missing "privacy" sign and missing slippers--there was no answer, or only an answer on the third try after 20 rings. And, it took at least 45-60 minutes each time to get what I needed, except when it didn't come at all. I finally had to go downstairs to get a manager. Fortunately, he gave me his cell number so I could call him the NEXT time the front desk/personal assistant didn't answer. Other small annoyances were things like stacks of dirty towels all around the pool area, with no pool attendant visible. This is branded as a Waldorf Astoria hotel and is an embarrassment to the brand.
25.08.20Stayed for a quick weekend trip. Grand lobby, pool with attendants and wait service, lovely touches and amenities in room, comfy beds. The location is right off of canal so fairly central. I would absolutely book here again.
22.11.06The hotel is gorgeous, spacious rooms, beds super comfortable & just 2 blocks from Bourbon. Well worth the money in my opinion.
