Pai My Guest Resort

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an amazingly peaceful hotel that is perfect for silence and meditation. Surrounded by the tranquil energy of the mountains, lush plants, and a serene river right in front of the river-facing rooms, this place is a true sanctuary.Mr. Pai, the owner, is a kind and gentle soul who genuinely cares about his guests. He goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcomed.The hotel is ideally located just a bit outside of town, making it an excellent choice for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Pai's vibrant energy. Yet, it’s only a 10-minute walk or a quick 2-3 minute motorbike ride away from the town center.I can't wait to return for an extended stay at this unique and rare find!

Loved staying here. It was great value for the money, the staff was great and everything was clean. There was one issue, and that was the sound from the night market. We heard very loud music till about 11 pm. But other than that, it was great! I put in my AirPods and couldn't even hear it.

Location: It's inaccessible on foot without a car or motorbike. You absolutely must rent a motorbike. If you don't know how to drive a motorbike and want to eat three times a day, you'll have to pay 200 baht per day for three round trips and use Grab to get to the restaurant. This effectively increases the price of your room. It's important to clearly state that it's not accessible on foot. Hygiene: Reviews claiming there are no mosquitoes are a lie. There are a lot of them. Mosquito coils or repellents are not provided. A bigger problem is the large ants in the room. I'm not afraid of ants, but be aware that there are a lot of them in the room, big enough to bite you. The bedding smells strongly of mold. Towels are provided, but only one small and one large towel per person. They don't provide towels at the pool. Towels are in short supply. Room Condition: In stark contrast to the beautiful view of the pool, the room is very old. If you're expecting the room to be in good condition given the high price and the inconvenient accessibility, you'll be very disappointed. You'll be surprised by the worn-out furniture and bedding, along with the musty smell. It's not dirty, but it's definitely worn.

Clean rooms, nice pool nothing to dislike i would stay again.

The hotel isn’t in the city centre which makes it super quiet, we liked hearing the river gush next to our room, and Mr Pai was super friendly and helpful!
