Shin-nasu Kogen Onsen Jizaiso

I am an academic, so I have visited many different countries and establishments in my work. Never have I had a hotel experience like I did at Jizaiso. The staff is absolutely incredible in terms of their consideration for you and your unique needs, and is always available to help. A few notes for potential international visitors: - Study up on some basic Japanese. There is a lovely Nepali couple who works there if you really speak only English, but even crappy Japanese like mine will go a long way. - Prepare to take a taxi if you're arriving anytime outside of a standard 9-5 workday. It's about 40 minutes from Nasushiobara station (the bullet train/shinkansen one), and the buses stop quite early. - When they say breakfast and dinner included, they mean it. The amount of food you get is astronomical, to the point where both my husband and I struggled to finish it. Bring your appetite!
