Located a few blocks from the beach, ab out 15 minutes walk to State Street and Stearns Pier, the location was a pleasant suprise. This is an older motel type building which has been completely updated. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was really nice. I'll admit I stayed because of the price, and the ratings, but I would recommend to anyone traveling to Santa Barbara for an escape.

We stayed 3 nights this October in a standard double queen room. The pros: clean, relatively quiet, good beds, good shower, adequate breakfast (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, hashbrowns, cereal, yogurt, bread - no cut fruit, pastry or cold cuts. The Cons: no bedside reading light, no full-length mirror, no drawers for storage, some room areas were dark, poorly lit. The staff was courteous; maid service is only every 3rd day, but we didn't miss it. All in all, Aviana provided most everything we needed and we would stay here again.

Great 2 night stay here. Really good location and only a few minutes walk away from harbour and restaurants. Santa Barbara is very beautiful 😍

Rooms are very dark. No lights except by bed. TV works nut Netflix and Prime did not work even when staff member came to our room He was not able to fix it.
