25.10.15Our stay at this hotel was absolutely horrible, especially considering it was during a long weekend when we expected to relax and enjoy some family time. The swimming pool was out of service, which was one of the main reasons we booked this place. There was no advance notice or apology from management.
Even worse, the staff harassed our child when parents weren’t around — completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. We were shocked and deeply upset by how they treated kids.
The kitchen staff were rude and controlling, especially toward guests with special conditions, commenting on and even limiting how much food they thought people should eat or take. This behavior is completely out of line for a hospitality setting.
To make matters worse, there was no manager or person in charge on-site to handle complaints or concerns. We were left with no support, no accountability, and no resolution.
Overall, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had — unwelcoming, disorganized, and lacking basic respect for guests. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families or guests with special needs.
23.08.12 The Ramada Limited in Merritt is well run by trained and kind people. Breakfast was exceptionally well done. The cleanliness was excellent. The room flooring and certain things like wall plug ins are worn, need updating and replacement to rate a higher score. Yet the stay was very good, better than expected.
