Stayed an extra night on Norway in a Nutshell tour. Nice to have a little quiet time to enjoy exquisite view. Dinner buffet had a lot of great seafood (shrimp, mussels, salmon, etc.) only complaint was no answer to my email two weeks before arrival inquiring about tours from the hotel and the folklore museum (right behind hotel, beautiful mountain walk) was closed unless you had a group of ten.

Great place for an overnight stay; you get to live in a 1960s-era furnished room with an amazing view of Stalheim from above. Don't expect too much for facilities, but you can visit the nearby Stalheim Museum too!
