26.03.29 We only paid *** for the night. Needed accommodation close to New Town. Very good location, however needs a bit of TLC. Wall paper in room had sticky tape on the edges to hold it down. Not very clean. Was very cold even with heater in high. Windows with huge gaps. Get what you pay for I guess.
26.03.10 Clean enough despite a patch of mould next to the bed. Manager was a bit unusual - we got there too early, and said we would leave and come back. He insisted we stay as the room would be ready soon. It took another 40 minutes! Then proceeded to talk the place down. Unusual bloke. Glad we were only staying one night.
26.02.18 If you’re looking for a good economic place to stay Waterfront Lodge is the place.
It’s no frills but has all the amenities you need to refuel and get back out sightseeing.
The place is a bit dated, but we were out the whole time and only back to sleep.
Would recommend this place and we would be back to explore places we haven’t seen.
Only a short drive to the city so it’s all good
