25.02.25This hotel might have been very nice at one time given the reviews it has got. We got the feeling the whole time that they were always asking for more money.
To start with the check in took over one hour, 10-20 people checking in should not take so long time.
The first thing we got was an upgrade offer which we did not need. We felt that we were getting less service after that.
The breakfast is rather good in our opinion.
At the buffet (which is included) we were served water in a bottle for 2 small glassess at 2,5 euro.
The waiter brought the bill when we just started eating and asked us to sign for it. I asked if we could finish our meal and do it after that but she refused and left the bill on our table and stood nearby waiting for us to sign.
When we were going to relax on a sunbed, everything was full of towels but not many people on the benches. We were told that after 30 minutes the towels would be removed and we could then use the benches. The guard told us that there were 4 benches available, I asked if we could have 2 of them and he said yes, 5 minutes later other people were on the benches and he said they had been waiting longer! We also tried to get seats on the rooftop but there were also a lot of seats empty but all reserved, we were told you could pay to have the seats empty which is very special.
We will not go to this hotel again even though it was not terrible, have been to many hotels in Tenerife and this is on the bottom regarding service and price since we expected more.
