26.05.12I would say this hotel is exceptionally good the characters of the staff is wot makes this hotel n the cleanliness. I love how attentive staff are n how they lookafter u very well. The location is brilliant near to airport, beach and the brilliant market place. I would definitely come back again
26.04.27good value for the money. good transport by hotel bus (free) to beach every 10 min. Very good food (for all inclusive, you have good variety andd quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a lot of snacks both cold and hot between). Pool nice, although bit crowded.
One minus is they are doing renovation/construction job. But I guess its my onfortune its happening now. when its finished it will certianly be good
26.04.25처음 리셉션에서 아시아인이라 무시하는 느낌을 너무 크게 받았다. 내 순서에 리셉션에서 체크인을 하고 있음에도 불구하고 말을 끊고 다른 사람의 일을 본다. 뷔페에서는 응대를 해주지 않는다. 어디 앉으면 되는지 물어봤으나 쳐다만 볼뿐 응답해주지 않고 지나치며 먹고 있는 음식이 접시에 많았음에도 불구하고 음료를 가지러 가는 사이에 다 치워버린다. 그리고 가고있던 길을 막는다. 호텔 입구 경비는 왜 이 호텔에 왔냐 묻더라 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 예약했고 내가 숙소로 이용하니 왔지 왜 왔겠냐 ci발아 진짜 주먹 날라갈뻔함ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그리고 방은 상당히 멀리 있는 곳으로 배정해줬으며 그 방에는 샤워욕조의 바닥이 막혀 물이 내려가지 않아 직원을 불러 바닥을 뚫었으며, 다음날 샤워를 했을 땐 방 전체가 홍수가 난것처럼 물로 가득찼다. 혹시나 인종차별로 인해 거자같은 방에 문제로 내가 복구해야할까봐 내 문제가 아니라는 것을 증명하기 위해 직원과의 대화내용도 녹음해뒀다. 워터파크가 개인 방 안에 있어서 좋다. 그들에게 내가 뭐가 그렇게 부족한가 묻고싶다. 남들과 같은 돈을 지불해서 이 호텔을 예약했고 너희 평균 월급의 몇배로 많이 벌고 사회적 지위도 한참 높을 것인데 불과 아시아인이라고 차별하는 것은 아니라고 보며 이 호텔에 지내면서 하루하루 기분이 너무 나빴다. 차라리 다른 Hill0 유명한 호텔로 가세요.
26.02.07Reception team seemed lovely as did the restaurant team. Bar staff questionable. Sometimes happy, sometimes miserable. Food was decent, I joined family for 2 days for a birthday celebration and the hotel gave me exactly what I needed.
If you want luxury, this isn’t for you. If you want simple and easy, get booking.
26.05.20Stayed at the Royal Lagoon Hotel for one night. First impressions of the hotel were actually very positive — the lobby area and pool are genuinely beautiful and give the resort a nice atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the rooms were a major disappointment. Cleanliness was poor, with a noticeable amount of mould in the bathroom, especially around the sink and bath area. Some of the bathroom tiles were also broken. The mattress was extremely hard and very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep properly. On top of that, the air conditioning in the room was very weak, so the room stayed uncomfortably hot throughout the stay.
Service response times were also frustrating. I called reception multiple times asking for extra pillows and for someone to check the AC, but each time it took around 30–45 minutes for anyone to come, and that was only after repeatedly calling.
The food was also very basic and lacked flavour. There were additional charges for certain juices and amenities, which felt unnecessary considering the overall experience.
Luckily, I only booked this hotel for one night. If you are planning a longer resort-style holiday, I would honestly recommend spending a bit more money on a better hotel, as the quality of the hotel really makes or breaks this type of holiday experience.
I mainly booked this hotel because it was only for a short stay, but this review is intended more for people considering it for a full holiday stay.
