22.04.03Returned to Broncemar after the refurb - great job! Very clean, comfy beds, great facilities.
The major let down was the food - whilst of a good quality, it was always cold and became repetitive towards the end of our 10 day stay. We have visited many all-inclusive hotels and know that it is difficult to keep buffet type meals warm, but here it was truly cold - 1 microwave available but who wants microwaved chips! We also noticed that staff started clearing food and serving utensils away 30-40 minutes before the end of service.
Pools great with widened terrace area for lots of sunbed availability, 1 of the 3 pools is heated.
Hot tub and bubble beds were not working (or switched on) during our stay. New kids area great.
Inner square and entertainment area with outdoor heaters lovely, but not used to full potential - would be great for entertainment other than Broncemar staff .
New gastro bar opened on our last night and looked wonderful - would be good as a nightclub, as Caleta de Fuste doesn't seem to have any late night entertainment.
Our apartment overlooked the street and the bins/service delivery area was below, constant noise throughout the night - bottles crashing, bins being emptied, truck engines running.
Hotel in a fabulous location - only a 5 minute downhill walk to the shops and beach and 5 minutes uphill to the marketplace and bus station. 10 minute taxi/bus ride from airport.
