We were on holiday to see Gibraltar and soak up some atmosphere. Been to one Holiday Inn Express, you’ve been to them all- no atmosphere, kind of depressing lobby, poorly lit hallways and faded carpets. Stale breakfast breads and buns . This one is in the middle of nowhere. There is a big box mall just up the road ‘ Toys R Us’ and fast food places. The bus is accessible once you know where it is. We were glad we took a cab , tho it felt like Mr Toad’s Wild ride. OJ was good. The staff were run off their feet- but super nice and helpful and they spoke English. If all you want is a room for the night- it’s fine. If you want to hang out in your room, relax and soak up a bit of Spain- keep on looking
