26.01.10We spent *** for this room for one night. Was it worth it? Not really, but probably would still book it because for our specific situation it worked. We had one day in Lüneburg and wanted to see the Christmas market and go to the Therme in the later evening. The convenience of doing that right out of the hotel in bathrobe (the hotel does not provide this, so bring your own towels and robes!!!) had priority. The connection to the Therme could be improved…The rooms are nothing to write about, small but clean. Our balcony looked out to the back of the Therme Building. The entrance to the hotel is ugly, but you can park (if space is available, to unload the car. Parking is 10€ in the public underground garage with a special area that is connected to the hotel, this is convenient. The staff is stressed, maybe understaffed. There was only one person doing check in/check out during our time and an actual line formed though it wasn’t that busy. The breakfast was good. The breakfast area was nicely designed and comfortable, the staff here seemed stressed as well though. If the Therme is actively part of your itinerary, book it, otherwise there are other options. This hotel could be so much more, but they may lack funds or it’s poorly managed .
25.03.18A pleasant place to stay, close to the hospital - I was on a work travel. Also close to the thermal spa .
10-15 minute walk from the old town. The breakfast was good.
The hotel lobby was under renovation so no lobby to use…
