If the star rating of this hotel is given by how friendly and helpful the staff are then it is overachieving for 4 stars! It should be 5! If it's for location, sure it's great especially if you're getting the train. However, if you have to be an acrobat to get into the shower because it's so small ... if you turn the shower on and a piece jumps off that's been held together by what looks like chewing gum ... if the walls are so thin you can hear a mouse fart two floors up ... if you think about the 'view' of 4 Alcatraz-style grey prison walls from the 'window' ... if you would like a bathroom door that isn't translucent with gaps around the outside as if Los Mossos needed to check you weren't doing coke in there ... well ... I'd say that 4 stars were particularly generous, especially for 230 euro a night. Staff are great, though. Probably just cheap owners.

Stayed here for one night. Room was designed such that half of it was exposed to the open lift area and covered with a curtain. For the bed, no headboard or proper blanket was provided. The blanket given was just a thin white sheet. For the coffee tea set, a disposable paper cup without a stirrer was given. The toilet is spacious. However, the shower didnt have a proper screen so the entire toilet floor was flooded. this is the first time I have encountered these many issues despite being a frequent traveller and staying for only a day.
