22.08.13Lovely part of Cyprus, though the Corallia Apartments are a little tired, they act as a good base and have everything that you need. If you want more glamorous surroundings go next door.
22.06.23 Corallia Beach Hotel Apartments are well located and found in Paphos.
however, from point of view, we experienced the following.
1. The floor was dirty.
2. WIFI only found in the reception.
3. Unable to supply us with a double bed despite the fact this was requested during the booking.
22.05.12 The manager was the rudest and less accomodating woman ive ever met. Literally shouting at us because her booking agent made a mistake. She was rude to the point of being aggressive.
25.11.20 It’s just too dated there’s nothing in the room the aircon doesn’t work it if it has even a little money spent it would be better because it’s a great location but it’s been left in the 1960s unfortunately
25.10.24 We had booked a one bedroom apartment with sea view but on arrival were allocated a tiny studio with dated facilities, an unserviceable air conditioning unit and the attached picture view of the sea (room ***).
We complained and were told that after 2 nights of our 7 night stay we would be moved to our correct room and wouldn’t be compensated because this was one of their best room in that category and was therefore effectively an upgrade.
In fact it wasn’t, it turned out to be exactly the room we had reserved and paid for.
I enquired if they would at least award us a free bottle of wine by means of an apology but even that was flatly refused.
Incidentally, whilst sat in reception waiting for staff attention we observed 3 other couples complaining about their accommodation not being as described (one of them had been allocated room ***) and part of a wedding party describing how they had one bed in their room for 4 adults and that was covered in ants.
It appears that this hotel attempts to allocate janitor-sized studios to everybody and then only reluctantly issues the correct accommodation when challenged.
My son is a resident of Coral Bay and we will be visiting many times but the scamming and attitude of the reception staff has ensured we will never stay in this hotel again.
