25.07.29My boyfriend and I just came back to Japan from our ten day trip in Sri Lanka and to say that we miss is an understatement. This was the first time for the both of us and we were so giddy just while looking at reviews and pictures from Jetwing. Our expectations were high but when we finally arrived... it was so much better than we could have ever imagined. The happiness began the minute the staff picked us up in the parking lot and welcomed us to the resort. Everyone at the resort was so amazing, from the sweetest manager to the construction workers, working on new additions to the resort. Our host for the two day stay was one of the staff named Ruchira and he made our time at Jetwing so comfortable, relaxing, exciting and unforgettable. He told us all about the history of resort and we could tell that he was happy to be there. Anything we needed, he provided as soon as he could. From pickups, to scheduling our spa time, to showing us around the resort. Gosh how I miss it... Jetwing was absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The design and architecture of the resort itself, the delicious food - Breakfast, lunch and dinner, the many efforts for sustainability - like the garden, the rice and even down to the bottled water. The whole time we felt immersed in the natural and magical Sri Lankan wilderness. We had the luxury and comfort of staying in a five star hotel while still getting to enjoy the most that nature has to offer.
Sure, it certainly cost a pretty penny but if you have the chance to go, I would 100 % recommend staying there. I can't quite put my satisfaction into words... To wrap things up, I had the most magical two days of my life and our stay at Jetwing was the best way to kickstart our Sri Lanka trip.
25.05.23Every villa is beautifully designed with plenty of room to relax and fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this property. You have a personal butler and a naturalist for eco tours on the property (included). Safaris off property (additional fee) are also done well with the same naturalist. The wildlife is rare and exotic on property, with evening Loris sightings, flying fox bats, peacocks roaming freely, brackish crocs, servile cat, lizards, birds and langurs. The food and beverage manager, chef and hospitality are all elevated. You will have phenomenal meals, fresh and delicious. The spa was peaceful and a perfect massage after hiking Sigiriya rock. The many beautiful people working here made our stay so very special.
24.09.02I have never seen anything like it!! It’s truly worth the visit. So serene and calm. The outdoor shower was particularly unique and fun!! The staff were exceptional - especially Gamini, our dedicated butler. The staff throughout the resort were so friendly and helpful. There were two restaurant staff in particular - this beautiful girl whose name I didn’t catch..she was a trainee and the restaurant manager. So caring!! They went out of their way to make our stay worthwhile and comfortable from tending to our fussy appetites to my illness.
23.01.14We came here 12 years ago and loved it. So returned in 2023. Such a beautiful place. Tranquil, peaceful natural design. Love the huts and nature. Food is very good also. Very comfortable. The only thing is for our family of 5 the price is a bit to expensive for our budget. (We use Canadian dollar so room comes to over 700.00/ night. Which is too extreme for us.) But everyone has their own budget! It’s a beautiful place to be!
21.12.15The best hotel we have ever been!!! Everything was perfect... very keen to details! We couldn’t be happier! Location... staff... food... a peaceful and dreamy place!
