26.04.16 Everything was good except the food. Before arriving at the hotel, I had read several reviews mentioning issues with the food, and unfortunately, I experienced the same. The taste was not good, and there was very little variety.
However, when we raised our concern, the staff handled it very well. They prepared special meals for us and gave us extra care, which we truly appreciated.
That said, as part of the Amaya group, the food quality and variety should be improved to meet higher standards.

25.12.24 Amaya Lake Dambulla is a lovely hotel with a great location surrounded by nature. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Facilities and overall service were good, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. However, the in-room entertainment could be improved — the TV does not support YouTube or Netflix, which would be a nice upgrade. Overall, a pleasant stay with minor room for improvement.
