23.10.05A boutique travel experience, with all the amenities of a five star stay.
The hotel itself is over a hundred years old, so you get the authentic British Bungalow experience with the unparalleled Sri Lanka hospitality.
Food was top notch. There wasn't a buffetsince it's a boutique hotel. Our menus were delivered to the door one hour before dinner time where they took our preferences. And when we did go to dinner, it was a lovely spread.
The hotel has a great sun room that over looks the sorrounding mountains and you can see the trains pass from there. I particularly loved the design of the hotel, from it's cute wooden horses to the floral themed throws. There's a tennis court, mini gold area , and a heated swimming pool.
If you don't like any of the above, the garden is really great to walk around in and enjoy.
Langdale also to takes a step further, by providing only glass bottles in the rooms. We appreciate the sustainability initiatives.
