22.05.23If you are looking for a B&B with a bit of history this is the place. The buildings are as one would expect a tad older like the motels of days gone by, but, the decor is nice, the beds are comfortable and The Barn food is excellent. The only draw back is we could not get the window AC regulated to run all evening and the room became warm and stuffy. Other than that the staff is friendly, there are cabins next to the river, a pool and fire pit for those who want to use them. There are pool tables, reading nooks, deck area near the restaurant that overlooks the clean and running river. You can watch kayakers drift by the hotel. We sat on the front porch of the main building and drank coffee, rocked in the chairs and watched cars go by to points unknown. Relaxing the way it should be.
