26.04.19Extremely rude, condescending owner. Constant interruptions and desire to come into the room for things like maintenance and construction, inconsistent room cleaning, arguments from requesting to defer cleaning one day, then failure to clean the room when cleaning was requested. I would get a call on the room phone at 9am on the dot as I was getting getting ready every couple of days or so, it was ridiculous.
Only accepts California ID, doesnt accept passport as ID. Issues with the owner immediately after booking because my booking and payment information are under different names, despite having the samr name. Never had that problem anywhere else.
A loud fought with yelling and cursing occured during my stay in the room below me, I called the front desk and and they refused to do anything about it and the owner lectured me that it was my responsibility to handle.
Weird gaslike smells from the giant painting directly behind the bed. No bedside lamps, the only lights were bright daylight bulbs throughout the room. No blackout curtains, the window shades were thick but couldn't block enough light through the gaps to make keep the room dark.
Terrible wifi, very slow web page loading, apps, too slow for voice chat without bad call quality.
Summary:
Not a safe or restful place. Disrespectful and intrusive owners. Very thin walls and floors. Unusable wifi.
26.04.05 The 2 room suite was clean and staff was friendly, a little walk to town and restaurants, I would definitely stay again
