25.02.25I stayed at Cacades because I wanted to try an off brand place and the price was good. This company recently took over this property and was in the early stages of renovation. The room was ok, but the paint was peeling off the walls, and the recycled fixtures needed some TLC. The main concern I had was the dimly lit halls and parking lot. My room was in the back and, while I didn't witness any issues between people, the level of light wasn't exactly comforting. I went in early January, so summer may be a better time to stay. I was happy with the location and highly recommend Kosta's Pancake House next door. It was delicious! I may go back after another year, so hopefully they'll make some updates by then.
