Toreador Motel

Great overnight stop over especially with dogs. Bed and linen was beautifully clean and comfortable.

We only stayed one night but it was easy and all we needed

Room was older and small, but met our need for a dog friendly motel which can few and far between. Would have been good to have toaster, bowls, plates etc. Did have kettle and microwave. Clean enough and close to the highways centre of shops. Wouldn't have wanted to pay more than the $*** we got via Agoda.

If you are expecting the usual things such as cutlery, plates, a toaster and biscuits in your room, think again because these are not provided. Instead you will have to use the motel guest kitchen which is locked and has such restricted opening times, it is useless to travellers who wish to leave before 8 :30 am. The motel is noisy from the highway but easy to acess. It is a short walk to shops and restraunts, which is the only reason I would recommend it. We travelled with a small dog and were told our dog could go nowhere near or on the bed or else we would attract a $50 cleaning fee, we had already paid a hefty price for the dog to be in our room in the first place. Instead of having a guest information folder, all info came from a square that we had to access with our phones. Think the wi fi might work? No. I have never, ever in my life given such a poor review as this, and sorry to have to do it, Travellers need to k ow what to expect.
