Upside: Superb location. 5 min walk to JR Ueno Central Gate exit, where you have lots of food & shopping options. If you prefer a peaceful walk instead, the hotel is diagonally opposite the Ueno Iriya exit in a back lane. Downside: You have to lug your luggage up the stairs to the entrance. You need to purchase detergent separately from the front desk - 100Y for a tiny sachet. The dryer takes at least 2 rounds to properly dry the wash. Maybe the hotel could set the dryer temperature a little higher?

Ueno known for their many amenities, shops and eateries around. One of our favorite location when we visit Tokyo.

Had a wonderful stay at your hotel. Everything was just perfect! Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Osaka.

We stayed here last year and booked it this year for my parents. They loved the proximity to the station and location overall is great. Staff's great too!
