I found the OYO Grantly to be very good for a short London break at a reasonable price. It’s a short walk from the Tube station and the room was clean with all the facilities you would expect from a good budget hotel room. Staff were very helpful.

Hotel placed where I needed it! Desk staff very friendly, only problem being I left earlier than booked but no refund!!! The room wasn’t what I booked a double but a twin instead! No explanation why? Basic amenities coffee and tea but only for 6 drinks. Stayed on 81 long walk down to get top ups. Staff very friendly but need to pay attention to what is booked! I would stay again for an overnight visit but no more!

Breakfast is nice with full English style.

I booked this hotel at the last minute as most of the hotels in the area were already booked up. The entrance to the hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly but, once inside, the stair carpet was threadbare and the corridor had an unpleasant smell. The single room I booked was run-down and in the basement, meaning there was only minimum light coming through a dirty glass door panel. The room desperately needed a thorough clean. I could actually see the dirt on the remote control so used a wipe to clean it and it came away filthy. The cup had tea stains inside and the glass was wet. The covers on the bed looked old and had washed-in marks and stains on them. The paintwork was scuffed and marked and gouged in places. All the furniture was old, worn and mis-matched. It was also very noisy being underneath the reception area and on the main road. Although I'd only just checked-in, after looking around I decided I couldn't stay, even for one night, so made my excuses and left. Despite the good location for the Shepherd's Bush Empire I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

My room was next to the road. And expect some noise, quite sure if you would be easily awaken, avoid the twin room next to the road. Other elements are all up to standard.
