야마기시 료칸

Stayed at Yamagishi Ryokan with my family in April, and it was absolutely perfect. Our room overlooked Lake Kawaguchi, and the view alone made the stay unforgettable. The misty mornings over the lake felt almost dreamlike, while the flickering lights at night created such a peaceful atmosphere. Sleeping on the cosy tatami was also surprisingly comfortable and added to the authentic ryokan experience. The location is incredibly convenient. There’s a Lawson right next door, which made everything easy for us, especially for quick snacks and essentials. The Red Line Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Bus also stops just a few doors away from the ryokan, making it very convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings of Kawaguchiko. And of course, the Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely scrumptious — a wonderful way to start each morning. I truly loved this place and would happily return again on my next trip to Japan.

Worst dinner I had in Japan. The hotel needs serious improvement. Beef steak was cut in different sizes and shapes. Grilled shrimp was totally dry. Breakfast was not very good either. Shumai (Dumpling) was not cook and warm properly. Some part soft and some part dry. Facilities and staff were nice.

Dinner was terrible. Obviously the cook had no idea how to slice beef steak. Pieces were cut thick and in odd and different shapes. Grilled shrimp was cold and dry, like it was grilled 2 days ago. But facility everything else was great.

호텔의 전반적인 평가는 오랜된 느낌입니다 룸도 마찬가지입니다. 그러나 엄청 깨끗했습니다. 룸에서 구석진, 손길이 잘 닿지 않는듯한 공간에도 청소 상태가 훌륭했습니다. 우리가 묵었던 방은 너무 좁아 매트리스펴고 나면 차 한잔 할 공간이 부족했습니다. 친절도는 보통이상입니다. 생수는 제공하지 않기 때문에 방에서는 수도물을 이용해야 합니다. 우리는 수도물을 이용했는데 아주 만족했습니다. 공용 온천은 생각보다 작았으나 이용하는데 불편함이 없었고 만족했습니다. 다음에 이용한다면 큰 룸을 예약할것 입니다.
