The Gyokuzoin Temple stay was definitely a highlight, traditional Japanese style rooms set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, which were even more stunning at night, with the lanterns around the temple lit up. There are options to attend morning rituals and have a traditional set dinner and/or breakfast. Would recommend if you want a more authentic experience in Japan

This temple stay was the highlight of my maiden Japan Trip. The monks and the staff in the temple are so helpful, warm, and kind. They were all so welcoming. I stayed there for 2 days and it was so peaceful and quiet in there. I truly loved my stay there.

Simply wonderful! Amazing room, amazing temple, amazing walks, amazing fire ceremony and prayers… amazing staff!
