The pool was not working. My kids were very dissatisfied we would not have stayed here had we know. The beds were wonderful the room was clean. We were told we were getting a room with a couch but we didn’t get it. It was only one night so
No big deal. I recommend staying here, but call ahead to make sure all amenities are working before you book and make sure before you pay your 25$ deposit you get the get the actual room you were told on the phone you were getting. Staff was very nice though and an excellent condition. They worked to immediately resolve a 2am noise complaint they woke up our whole family.
We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bardstown. The staff were very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to during our weekend stay. We got lots of information about the history of the area and things to do & see. We were very appreciative of all the information.
The room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed. We slept well because of the bed and the quiet room. It was also very nice to have a small microwave and a little fridge in the room.
We enjoyed the large selection of hot and cold breakfast foods both mornings we were there. The food was very good and never allowed to run out, so it was always fresh. The coffee was also very good.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when we go back to Bardstown. We highly recommend staying here.
