Stayed for a couples night away. The hotel and heritage grounds are beautiful, lots to see and history to learn. For the price (£200 a night) we were disappointed, the room was spacious and modern with an incredible view of the river, the bathroom was rather grubby. For the money I would have expected amenities like water in the room and personal amenity kitabın the bathroom but only shower gel was supplied, if we wanted bottled water it was an extra charge. The mattress had seen better days was lumpy and could feel the springs, between that and being above a function suite with music banging to midnight we didn’t sleep well. We weren’t informed at check in we needed to book a time for breakfast only realised later in the evening by which time only slots left were later than we wanted. Attended for breakfast and waited 50 mins for our food, a millworkers breakfast (Scottish breakfast) with only 1 of each item, a thimble of beans and no toast (had to make your own). The scrambled eggs and sourdough toast was lukewarm and swimming in egg water the bread soaked through and soggy. The little we did eat of our breakfasts resulted in upset stomachs for us both. Expected more for the price, wouldn’t return.

Located on the River Clyde. Lovely hotel with great views. Staff very friendly. Great choice of food at breakfast and we liked the fact that it was table service and not buffet. Evening meal was excellent. Lovely walks along the river to the Falls of Clyde, the only waterfall on the Clyde. This was our first visit to the New Lanark Mill Hotel and we will certainly be back.

Stayed only one night. Room was spacious, bathroom clean. Didn't get a chance to try the pool, but walking routes along the river were amazing. Food and service in the restaurant was very good and breakfast also plentiful. Lovely stay, would visit again.
