The entrance should change to auto Gates and small River or drain would be covered because from top can see dirty water and be bad image.
Amazing hotel. I had never heard the name Alana before, so I expected some local imitation of a 4-star hotel, but to my surprise this is by far the best 4-star property I have seen anywhere in the world. There was not a single thing that is not OK in it! Obviously a result of great management. I can only congratulate these people for the work they are doing. Bed, bathroom, cleanliness, space, elevators, breakfast, service... nothing, nothing I could find a defect in. I can only wish there were more places like this in other parts of the world too.
I liked the general ambiance and staff helpfulness. Only problem was where we stayed on the 8th floor was right above the function room, and it was insanely noisy on one of our nights we were there, so much so that the windows were rattling from the noise. Worse was the next morning at 7am, someone else was on the mic.
The staff was happy to give us a change of rooms, but as we were too busy to move rooms, we didn't end up moving.
Suggestion to perhaps stay in higher floors and for staff/facilities to fix the soundproofing on the 8th.
