26.05.31We stayed at PIAZZA RISORGIMENTO 14 (5minutes walking from the reception Building). At first it was very difficult to find, it isn’t in Google Maps. #14 is the number (landmark is the Farmacia) this is across the Piazza (Plaza) Risorgemento. Walking distance to the Vatican, just right across the building about 7 min walk. The reception area where you will find the keys is a different bldg. We had a hard time finding this bldg as we checked in late already like 8pm. Nevertheless the room was great very big with 2 single bed and 1 double bed. It’s modern beds and bathroom so it’s nice. If it isn’t for this I will rate the hotel really bad. Because the instructions given weren’t clear. It should be #14 landmark in front of Piazza RISOGIMENTO, 3rd flr, door #8, room #2
26.05.14숙소 위치는 바티칸에서 매우 가까워서 너무 좋았습니다. 다만 숙소 내부가 사진과는 너무 달랐습니다. 방은 좁아서 옆으로 걸어다녀야 했습니다.
26.05.12The apartment assigned was ok as it was provided with ashared kitchen with complete utensils, detergents, plates and glasswares, along with warm and clean beddings. Only we were surprised that it was 290 meters away from the White Vatican reception apartment, and we had hard time locating it by ourselves especially that it was our first time in Vatican. Anyway d assigned apartment was in the center of souvenir shops, grocery store and restaurants, and near the Metro.
26.05.09Very bad experience
26.05.03The room provided did not match the promotional photos on the website. I found the price to be unacceptable as it was the same rate as much larger rooms, despite the following significant issues:
Bathroom Issues: The bathroom is extremely cramped and lacks a bidet sprayer. The only handheld showerhead is located outside the shower cubicle next to the toilet, forcing it to be used as a makeshift bidet. Inside the cubicle, there is only a fixed overhead shower. This design is highly impractical as it is impossible to test the water temperature before it hits your body.
Water Temperature: The water temperature is very inconsistent. Even after adjusting it, the water suddenly turns cold, suggesting a low-quality or faulty water heater.
Poor Maintenance & Substandard Materials: The room feels like it was put together using leftover materials. The "patterned wall" is actually just a patch to cover cracked concrete or peeling paint, and it appears to be peeling off due to poor installation.
Inappropriate Fixtures: The washbasin is oversized for the space and installed far too low. Even for someone of Asian stature, it is uncomfortably low.
Safety & Hygiene Concerns: Most concerningly, the wooden laminate flooring outside the bathroom is swollen and bulging. This is a major health hazard as it likely harbors mold. This damage seems to be caused by the poor bathroom layout, where water inevitably leaks onto the floor.
Door Lock: The lock on Room 502 is defective. Although it can still be locked, it is very difficult to operate.
Note to future guests: You must check in before 8:30 PM, or you won't be able to enter the building.
On a positive note, the staff were helpful and easy to communicate with, which was the only redeeming quality of this stay.
The only real advantage of this place is the location. However, there are many other hotels in the same building—I'd suggest looking at those instead for a better experience.
