VietHome-Door step to Hoan Kiem Lake

It's not beside the main road around the Hoan Kiem Lake, so it'not noisy. But it's close to that road. It might just be quite challenging for someone with 1st time experience travelling as there is no hotel staff on site that will assist, but the online staff is pretty responsive. Security features are above average. There are room for improvements on the amenities, but in my case, it doesn't matter, as I spend most of my time outdoors. Hotel for me is only for sleeping soundly.

Booked the room with balcony but even though the balcony wasn't facing the lake, I found the Homestay to still be great. Had to take 1 flight of stairs because the elavator only reaches til the 9th floor. My room was at the 10th Flr. Host was responsive, location is near and walkable to most tourist areas in the old quarter. Everything was communicated well so I did not have a hard time finding the accommodation which was inside the optical shop. They did cleaning and towel change every 2 days which I was not aware of. All my valuables were safe and untouched so kudos to the staff who are honest. Room had toiletries provided as well as small fridge and hair dryer. They also have washing machine and dryer at the 2nd floor floor for common use which made my stay convenient. Some downside, During my stay it was 9-13°C and I found it still cold inside the room even when the air conditioning is off or at 30°C. Cash only payment on site no card option. Towels were not pristine white but they smelled clean and electric fan needs cleaning as it was dusty.

Great price compared to local hotels. Owner communicates well and provides easy access to the room. Room has plenty of space and all the basics you need.

The only thing is because the hotel level 1 is an optical shop and I arrived after 7pm So it took me some times to find the hotel It is inside the Laito optical shop The staff is responding fast especially through WhatsApp But the location is very central and convenient

Good location and deal for the price. Apartment was clean and nice. Staff was helpful and only online. No contact during our stay. We have enjoyed our stay here.
