Panania Hotel

Room was clean, bed was comfy,. AC was cold and toilet was clean. Could use a fridge in the room as well as more water pressure. The pub downstairs was nice and served good food and drinks. Right next to station which is very convenient!

Checked in with the manager who was friendly, explained everything clearly, and even showed me the parking and how to access the rooms. I liked that the hotel had a bar downstairs serving food and drinks and that there was plenty of parking available. However, the experience went downhill from there. Our room didn’t match the photos there was no TV or air conditioning, just a small fan that barely worked. When my partner and I went to speak with the manager about it, he offered a refund and tried to help, but his attitude completely changed compared to when I had checked in alone earlier. It felt uncomfortable and the interaction ended abruptly. The shared bathrooms didn’t lock, which was inconvenient, and the bed squeaked loudly with every small movement. The room also had strict rules such as not being allowed to use deodorant due to the fire alarm, which could result in a $1700 on-the-spot fine. To make matters worse, there was a blackout during dinner, and the noise from the bar, trains, and cars made it difficult to sleep. Overall, it was a disappointing stay and I would not recommend or return to Panania Hotel.

Unfortunately no television in the room, I am not a Football fan so to sit in the bar and watch TV was not an option for me. The brochure in the room advertised breakfast, there was none. Could only make 1 cup of tea. Bedding and room were clean and comfortable. Asked for a quiet room, got one next to the railway line.

Shared bathrooms are gross, men's shower locks are broken. Bedroom was fine
