I made a last minute booking online. The staff called me in 15 min. Asked me when I was arriving and gave me options if I was going to be later than 8pm. I think it was the manager that I met at reception. She was friendly, understanding, just generally awesome! 10/10 would recommend this Bondi Beach Backpackers.

Location very good, not the best hostel but everything else is good, the staff is lovely except the manager who thinks he is I don't know who, between making him wait 1h30 for my room upon arrival because all the beds were occupied he suspected it, $2 per day charge never specified for unnecessary services, and telling me that I can get eaten by a shark is not serious as long as the surfboard comes back, is really very limited. This guy needs to get out ! The parking is at 20min to walk as well.

Never come again. Rude staff

I was shocked how I was treated by staff. Extremely rude for no reason, having a bad day doesn’t mean you can let it out on guests. Low price is not work the treatment and overall poor quality of stay
