24.06.15Stayed for 5 days in June 2024 Monday - Friday. Hotel is pretty good. Tidy & clean. Shower is hot. No aircon (normal for dalat) but aircon not needed. Room & location was a good and generally I was happy
There were a few negatives:
1) We rented their motorbike, drove to breakfast and realized it had a flat tyre. When we went back to return the bike, the hotel reception was gone and there was a note to call a phone number. We called but no answer. All their other bikes were too small for me so in the end we just returned the bike and rented one from the hotel next door. This cost us 1 hr of morning travel which was a major pain in the arse because we had a very tight schedule that day and we had to cut an activity short because of it.
2) My 5 year old son left a waterbottle in the bathroom with dirty water in it (he was playing with it). The cleaner put this bottle beside the clean water bottles (she didnt want to give us a new bottle and thought it was fresh water). When we got back my son saw it and drank from it. Guys, don't be cheap we stayed here 5 nights! and definitely don't do something like that when kids are around because he drank the dirty bathroom water because of you!
3) The cleaner left the windows open. These windows are facing the hallway so other guests can easily access them as they walk by. We didn't have anything valuable in the room so didn't really care but if I was travelling with something valuable I would have been very upset about it.
4) Bed is big but a little hard. It was fine, but by day 5 I was glad to be in my own bed.
5) Fan is a bit noisy but we didnt need to use it as the room temperature was just right
6) If you want to extend your booking do it as soon as possible. We wanted to extend 2 days (thurs/fri) but it was booked out by Tuesday. The hotel staff were nice enough to move us to their other room with windows.
