I was super happy to see the motel was under new management and the team over there (albeit small) they do very well to keep the place running in very good condition better than the last time I stayed there with my son aged 6 at the time. The new management/owner operators (family run by bro and sis team Simon and Michelle) are very accommodating and seem to be sailing along quite smoothly. I know that if U book in person and direct thru the motel they can actually more often than not do a far better rate than all the sites U can go to. The rooms were all very well maintained and quite clean. They have got few facilities but they are working very hard to being the place up to a standard that I believe was a good week long break away from my usual living address. They are friendly and goes for the staff as well. There is a well kept swimming pool and they are slowly but surely bringing the place up to scratch and adding those little touches to make the place the loved little nest egg nestled right in a central location. Buses running all the time and right outside the doorstep. They have not yet gathered any extra facilities as of yet (for instance a bbq area etc) but I can see them striving forward for those things to become a reality for the motel and guests. I think I would definitely recommend some fantastic eats around the motel all situated within a block or two of the establishment. I look forward to seeing them again and perhaps staying there again for another holiday away from home.
