23.08.11The appearance is not pleasant. First, I was placed in a room with crumbs (or ??) on the bed. There was rotten, moldy food in the fridge and empty wrappers that cups at been in at one time and the manager didn't seem concerned about the situation when I asked for another room. Second room had exactly 2 squares of toilet paper and had clearly not been vacuumed. The first key to the second room didn't work (actual key not a key card). I had to go back to the office to ask for a key that worked and a roll of toilet paper. The A/C was also extremely noisy. Couldn't talk on the phone with A/C running. Initially made reservations for 3 nights but extended for 2 more nights only because of proximity to work and no transportation. The manager's wife (without knocking) just opened the door and tried to come in on the day I initially was to check out. Apparently, there is no communication between the husband and wife there. At some point, the toilet clogged and I needed a plunger. That nearly took an act of congress to borrow the ONE that they had on site. There was a creeper male that was supposedly part of the housekeeping staff (despite no housekeeping). He would knock on my door anywhere from 8-10 pm each night until I complained to the manager and said with the next knock I would be calling the police. At no time were my towels changed or trash emptied. I offered to empty trash myself (used dumpster in the middle of the complex) but was told that there were no liners available for the trashcans. They also wanted a card on file for "incidentals." Whatever that means exactly (since they didn't even have an ice machine that worked). All in all, I would not stay here again. I am thankful to have gotten out alive.
