25.08.24Overall, my experience staying here was quite great. The hotel was very convenient and easily accessible to all the major tourist areas, including Myeongdong, Namsan, Jamsil, and many more attractions that Seoul has to offer.
Room: I had the deluxe room located on the 5th floor. While it was on the smaller side, it was impeccably clean, and all you need to do is inform the reception if you would like your room cleaned, and they will attend to it immediately. To be honest, I am not particularly fussy about the cosmetic design of the room; as long as it is clean and staffed by great people, I am more than happy with my accommodations.
Staff: The two gentlemen managing the reception were absolutely brilliant. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance. They were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay. If you need a local charger, they will gladly provide one for you. Their service and warm smiles were truly impeccable, and they even offered to let me use a washing machine located at the back of the reception area if I needed to wash my clothes, which I found to be a very kind gesture.
Facilities: It is a small hotel, so do not expect an abundance of facilities, but they do offer unlimited coffee, water, and ice available in the reception area, which is a nice touch. The cleaning service was also excellent; I genuinely could not find any faults with them. One delightful surprise during my stay was that I had forgotten to bring my hair straightener and hairdryer, and to my astonishment, they had one in each room!
Location: Dongdaemon is situated in the heart of Seoul, providing great access to subways, taxis, and airport limousines. Convenience stores are conveniently located just outside the hotel. Additionally, there is a mall right next to it, which features Daiso! I was absolutely thrilled to discover that! It is also adjacent to the APM mall, which is perfect for wholesale night shopping.
