A very good hotel

It was really good stay

Ideal location and pleasant rooms. Good buffet evening meals and value for money.

They gave us a room that had a door leading to the room next door. The people staying in the room next door were trying to get in to our room, we had to hold it shut and call reception. No hot water in the shower and to say sorry all they did was give us a smaller room to what we had originally. Very poor service and the receptionist was rude about the whole thing and thought we were lying.

This hotel starts as a nice place to stay, seeming peaceful and relaxing. Check in itself wasn’t too much of a bother, although I did have to wait for the guy in reception to finish his conversation with a friend before he assisted me. Room was decent, if a little bit cramped. WiFi is only free in public areas, it costs £7 a day to have in your room! There was no remote for the TV and the European lad at reception told me to “deal with it” as he didn’t have a spare one for that brand of TV! Food is overpriced and under seasoned. So much blandness. Do not recommend this hotel or their food.
