Great stay at Hotel Cecil. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The hotel is in close proximity to attractions so it was easy to explore around. The staff are nice and professional.

Good room, best location happy hours

As a solo female traveller, I felt safe in the area even when I arrive near midnight. There is always a staff on duty on the front desk watching all entry/exit. Very nice of them to offer early check-in when I arrived at 10am. Very clean room and toilet, very nice roof garden. Would stay here again when I come back to Rome.

Hello, When I arrived at the hotel, I was not given the room I selected on Booking. Instead, I was shown a completely different and very unusual room. When I went down to reception, I explained that I had chosen this hotel based on the photos shown online. However, I was told that the pictures were only “sample images” and that the actual room could be different. This was very surprising and misleading. I did not accept the first room, and after some insistence, I was given another room, which was only average and still not satisfactory. Additionally, the breakfast area is very small and insufficient. The breakfast options are limited, and in the mornings, guests are forced to wait in line. I stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my family. The location is very central and convenient, especially for families with young children. However, I paid extra for breakfast and expected a better standard and more variety. Cleanliness also needs improvement for a three star hotel, and some of the furniture looked worn and stained. The staff could also be more efficient and considerate. Overall, the location is a big advantage, but improvements in breakfast quality, cleanliness, and service would make a big difference.
