Front counter staff was rude and condescending when we asked if we could have a room change due to allergies from the carpet flooring. Amenities were old, bathroom drainage was bad and walls are not soundproofed.

The hotel has been recently renovated and meets the standards of a 4-star hotel. However, the hotel's major drawback is extremely poor sound insulation. Avoid the rooms facing the street, because right next to the hotel there is a "Manhattan Café" that makes extreme noise until one o'clock after midnight. It is simply incomprehensible to me that such a thing is possible. The hotel windows provide very poor sound protection (several times I thought they were open). Also, in the bathroom you can hear guests from the next room (bathroom).
