Canal View Deluxe Room was amazing for watching life on the canal outside, plus the palazzo hotel across the canal provided lots of entertaining comings and goings - the theatre unfolding outside was the highlight. Was a bit rough round the edges but it's Venice, so in keeping with the aesthetic - not a homogenous hotel, it's an individually-owned establishment. Staff were quick to respond to enquiries and any issues sorted out quickly. Check in was a little bit confusing so be prepared to WhatsApp them upon arrival; we were exhausted from an exceptionally long and physically demanding day which wouldn't have helped! Location was perfect for exploring the many and excellent cicchetti spots in Canareggio, easy to walk practically anywhere in Venice from here. Would recommend.

The service was friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. Staff members were polite and helpful whenever needed, which added to the positive atmosphere. That said, the room itself felt a bit old and slightly stuffy. The furnishings and decor could use some updating, and the air circulation wasn’t the best, which made the space feel less fresh than expected. With some renovation and improved ventilation, the overall stay would be significantly better. In summary, it’s a good option if you value a quiet, peaceful location, but the rooms could benefit from modernization and better airflow.

Hotel was well located near the train station (20 minute walk) and the Rialto bridge (10 minute walk). Large supermarket next door, if you want to avoid exorbitant Venice restaurant prices.

It was easy to move around and great to stay. However, the room was noisy all night.
