We booked on a whim and weren’t sure what to expect at Delamar. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms, with the exception of the bathrooms, were updated and really nice! The bathroom could use an update as well, as could the mattresses, but the room was clean and perfect for our family. The outdoor pool, free breakfast and outdoor sitting area were all wonderful!! The location was perfect and walkable to so many places downtown. The hotel said they did offer a shuttle downtown but we didn’t use it. The location was also centralized, making it easy to get to any place we wanted to go. Only about 30-40 minutes to sleeping bear dunes, close to many wineries and also Torch Lake. Would definitely recommend the Delamar in Traverse City!
