Irifune

We stayed for nights at Irifune. It's a beautiful seaside inn about 20 min walk from the ferry dock. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much. There are a few nice izakayas and a large supermarket (Marunaka) nearby -- can't beat the location.

This property is only 5mins walk from Angel Road. But the property does not have any other facilities except an impressive Cypress bath avail from 1800 to 2300 daily. There is no common area, no microwave for use. You have to eat-out before returning to the property. There is a flight of 18 steps to get to your room, mostly [if not all] at 2nd level. For people who goes Shodoshima mainly for Angel Road, this is the best place where the room rate is lowest amongst those near Angel Road. Depending on your purpose of visit, this could be ideal but beware of the inconveniences mentioned.

엔젤로드 바로 옆에 위치한 가성비 숙소. 다다미 방은 아담하지만 깔끔했습니다. 바다 바로 옆이라 좀 습하긴 하지만 뷰맛집이라 모든 단점을 상쇄.

- Location is walking distance away from Tourist Spots, Restaurants and Shops - You have to manage check-in and out by yourself, you don't meet the staff often - No room key, instead a coded keypad is used, don't forget the room code - Inside is a Tatami mat room with sliding door - The temperature gets really cold through the night, so use the aircon to heat the room up

The owner of the hotel was very kind and caring. The Japanese style room I stayed was very comfortable and the view from the room was great!! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
