26.02.09good condition.
good meals.
memorable trip!
25.10.09Had a very pleasant stay at this special site. recommend if you want to hide from the busy tourist spot of hotels nearby as Comorebi is deep in the mountain on its own.
25.09.30It was fun, worth to give it a try, sonething we had never do be4. The staff are friendly and nice. It was relaxing day too, with onsen, should choose the room with meals, so make it a complete experience. The toilets n rm are clean!
25.06.12Although pricey, totally worth the value. Book earlier to enjoy cheap deal.
24.06.23Location of the place is a bit hard to find, we took the local train to some station and had to cab from the station. the station is a small station and quite "ulu" (meaning remote).
Had to cab from the station to the glamping site which took about 15 mins? taxi fare was about 1800 yen.
But no regrets coming to this place - never tried glamping and this is the first time. the tent was luxurious - nice deco. there was tea/coffee/ bug spray. The toilet is a shared toilet and initially we were worried about the cleanliess of the toilet but all of our fears were unfounded - this is japan and you know how particular they are about cleanilness and hygiene. they have a shower place with onsen and good amentites provided- they use a dyson airdryer there.
The whole compound was private and safe. unfortunately, the staff cannot really speak english because there have more locals rather than tourists staying here. DInner was BBQ - it's DIY but fun - good assortment of ingredients - greens + salmon+ bacon and sausage and wine. very fun - the staff does starts the BBQ for you and you grill yourself. there is also dessert provided but menu is all in Japanese.
They even provide PJs for you cos when we went in Oct , it was chilly at night so the PJs from Uniqlo keeps you warm when you need to visit the toilet at night.
we made a visit to the toilet at 2am but it was bright and nothing to be afraid at all - you don't even need a torch to take with you. the compounds are still brightly lited so you don't have to worry about not being able to see.
By the way, there is a separate see thru tent where you dine - where you sleep is a different tent.
For breakfast, it was sumptuous , they provided rice with miso soup, fish and assorted of other japanese condiments with coffee/tea. we totally enjoyed this entire experience.
So glad we took the leap of faith to do our first glamping in japan and will totally do it again!
No regrets and such a fun adventure!
Definitely highly recommended.
