25.08.12If you're heading to Nagahama, you likely can't do much better than this. The other guests in other rooms were our problem, noisy, some anti social smoking. If not for those guests, 10/10.
25.07.10I love this property alot but the only issue is the thick dust on the wooden beams on the second floor. The mold smell is very bad too. I got sensitive air way and sinus . So the mold smell was intolerable. I requested for an air purifier from the front desk. However it was covered with thick dust at the back cover and the air outlet, we cleaned it ourselves so as to use it . Did not dare to open up to see the filter as the exterior dust was already very thick. The toilet outside the house may be too warm for summer. There are mosquitoes 🦟 in the toilet and garden as well. We stayed in the Iroha for 2 nights . There are 3 sections that can be converted into 3 sleeping areas. The ground floor is high too. The massage chair is good. The location is very good for walking around the shopping street. But if given a choice again, I will skip this place. I fall sick after staying for 2 days . Had very bad sinus and fever follows. Not sure if it is the moldy second floor though. For those who is not so particular abt smell , dust and mold , this place is definitely a GEM.
24.09.06This was the best hotel out of the 4 places we stayed for our trip. The room was spacious and clean. All amenities and additional things were provided. Staff was friendly.
24.05.17Parking is a short walk from the ryokan. Staff is super helpful and friendly. She even helped us carried the luggage up the stairs and guide us for parking. Room is super big and comfy. Free snacks and board games in room. Location is superb and it’s less than 5mins walk to a street with food & shopping!! Ryokan breakfast is nice~ Will totally recommend and will stay here again when we come back to Shiga. Thank you Iroha! ❤️
