스즈메 노 오야도 이소베칸

My friend and I had a VERY pleasant and happy 3-night stay at Suzume No Oyado Isobekan. The Town of Isobe was quiet, charming, interesting and serve as a place from which to explore other parts outside of Takasaki, including the Tomioka Silk Mill and Shorinzan Daruma Temple. The facility's public areas are well maintained and ample, having likely been a very impressive place in it's day and still providing comfortable and appealing accommodation. The mineral springs-fed public bath is lovely and a treat to use. The staff were gracious, welcoming, helpful. The room was also ample, comfortable, with nice views from the enclosed porch windows.
