씨사이드 호텔 타이마루 가이게쓰

This is the nearest hotel to the wonderful Otsuka Museum of Art. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the buffet dinner (in a nearby sister hotel) is excellent with lots of high quality Japanese specialties. Breakfast also excellent quality Fish and pork dishes. For an expensive hotel seems odd that they charge extra for bottled water.

When I made the booking, there are only two options left. So I pick the no view room. Out of my expectations, they upgraded my room to a spacious tatami room with stunning sea view!! My husband and I were so happy. I thought the dinner is going to be traditional Japanese set dinner, it turned out to be buffet. However, the food are surprisingly delicious, especially the fish dishes. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious as well. The staffs are so hospitable and friendly. Everything was excellent! It would be better if the Japanese style side window equipped with a curtain. As it is too bright to sleep once the sun rises.

I stayed at this hotel for a night with a friend, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The room was clean and spacious, providing a pleasant stay. However, being on the second floor, I noticed that the walls were quite thin, as I could hear the sound of other guests opening and closing their doors. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend requesting a room on a higher floor for a quieter stay. One of the highlights of the stay was the hot spring. It was simple but very relaxing, offering a beautiful view of the sea. It was a great place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment. As for breakfast, the hotel provided a morning box, but since I am not very familiar with Japanese cuisine and seafood, I personally couldn’t enjoy it as much. If you have similar preferences, you might want to check the breakfast options beforehand. Overall, the hotel had good room conditions and a relaxing hot spring, but sound insulation and breakfast variety might be factors to consider depending on your preferences.

5 mins walk to Otsuka Meesum. Good hospitality, will be back to this hotel again whenever chance to Naruto.

I enjoyed my stay there, for two nights! The room was clean and the view of the sea was nice.
